Happy Easter Everyone!!
Garden Tomb, Jerusalem The Holy Week we just journeyed through includes Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise Service, and Our Traditional Easter service in the Sanctuary. There was no sun at 6:30 am this morning, so I guess we'll call it the Son-Rise service. LOL The people here at Zion are amazing. Such big hearts and they don't let a little work deter them. God bless you all for your incredible help, warm welcome of everyone, and allowing me to journey with you

LENT
Lent invites a 40‑day journey of fasting, reflection, and renewal , echoing Jesus’ time in the wilderness where he faced temptation and deepened his trust in God. It’s a season to turn inward with honesty, to seek justice in our communities, and to practice service that embodies compassion in everyday life. Through prayer, self‑ examination, and acts of generosity, Lent becomes a journey of for love, courage, and faithful action. +

Did you know!! March 14 is PIE day?
The United Church of Canada invited you to celebrate PIE day. Zion will celebrate on March 15, 2026 after church. And how will we celebrate? By eating PIE!! PIE stands for Public, Intentional, Explicit. This is how we as a welcoming church and an inclusive church celebrate our radical inclusion of all peoples. It is also a way to let LBGTQ2 folks know we welcome everyone. Come celebrate with us and have a piece of pie.
